Accenture has reached an agreement to acquire McCoy, a Dutch consultancy focused on SAP transformation for mid-market organizations. Following completion, McCoy will be integrated into Accenture Edge, the company's recently established business unit dedicated to mid-market clients, with the aim of helping firms in this segment modernize operations and adopt artificial intelligence.

Established in 2012 and based in the Netherlands, McCoy also operates offices in Spain and the Philippines. The firm designs, implements and manages SAP systems spanning ERP, data, business solutions, managed services and enterprise integration. Recognized as an SAP Gold Partner, it has developed lasting client relationships through industry knowledge across sectors including high-tech, manufacturing, the public sector, utilities and retail.

The acquisition is intended to reinforce Accenture Edge's presence in the growing EMEA mid-market while broadening its SAP modernization work in the Netherlands. McCoy is also expected to contribute to offerings such as Advance, a joint initiative between Accenture and SAP that delivers packaged services tailored to mid-market customers.

Nicole van Det, CEO of Accenture Netherlands and Nordics, said SAP modernization and AI are increasingly converging on a single strategic agenda for mid-market companies pursuing growth, and that McCoy adds the expertise, client relationships and delivery model to translate that into value. Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge, described McCoy's entrepreneurial culture and mid-market track record as a strong fit for the unit's European ambitions. McCoy co-founder Tom van den Berg said joining Accenture Edge would allow the firm to build on its SAP expertise and client focus while opening access to broader capabilities and international opportunities for its staff.

McCoy will contribute more than 380 specialized professionals to Accenture Edge, along with proprietary accelerators such as SmartERP, Smart Extensions, Smart Re-use and McCoy Integration Studio, which are designed to standardize delivery and reduce implementation complexity.

The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
