ERPROOTS has introduced Aceteroid, an artificial intelligence platform built to optimize migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and to accelerate SAP ABAP development. The company positions the offering as an end-to-end control system intended to lower migration risk, modernize legacy code, and automate repetitive development work through the use of large language models.

Among its core functions, Aceteroid provides migration control for SAP S/4HANA by examining custom ECC code, producing migration blueprints, and automatically generating ABAP code that complies with S/4HANA standards. The platform also includes an AI coding assistant delivered as an Eclipse IDE plugin, enabling developers to create code from structured prompts, catch errors in real time, and refine legacy ABAP without leaving the Eclipse environment.

The platform additionally handles automated testing and post-migration validation. Converted objects are checked through structured testing designed to help keep project timelines on schedule.

Aceteroid is now officially available on the SAP Store and is offered across several scaling tiers. According to ERPROOTS, developers can trial the IDE plugin using 50 free credits accessible through the Aceteroid pricing page.
