Protera Joins SAP PartnerEdge Build and Sell Tracks, Lists Partnerportal on SAP Store

Protera, a cloud modernization and managed services provider focused on SAP environments, has announced a set of milestones that tighten its relationship with SAP. The Chicago-based company has joined both the Build and Sell tracks of the SAP PartnerEdge programme and has listed its Protera Partnerportal offering on the SAP Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner solutions.

By joining the Sell track, Protera can now support customers across strategy, solution design, licensing of SAP Cloud ERP, migration and ongoing management within one engagement. The company says this single-vendor model reduces complexity and removes the handoffs that customers typically face when juggling multiple suppliers during an SAP transformation.

The Protera Partnerportal, built on SAP Business Technology Platform, is a cloud-based, mobile-friendly portal designed to plug directly into back-end SAP systems. It offers features such as access to order history and product catalogues, real-time order creation with confirmation, and data validation at the point of entry to cut downstream errors. Because it runs natively alongside other SAP applications, it avoids the need to copy data onto separate platforms.

Company leaders framed the achievements as a major step for the partnership. Protera combines SAP resale capabilities with its own automation, AI-driven discovery and operational expertise, positioning itself as a full-lifecycle advisor for enterprises moving SAP workloads to the cloud.
