SAP Concur has introduced a range of new artificial intelligence tools and travel management functionalities to its integrated travel and expense platform. These updates aim to automate various aspects of business travel, from booking and approvals to meeting planning and expense handling. Several features are currently in early adopter programs, with broader releases planned.

A key highlight is an AI-assisted delegates dashboard, designed to consolidate approval requests, travel bookings, and expense reports into a single workspace. This allows delegates managing travel for multiple employees to handle profiles efficiently, with the system prioritizing tasks and suggesting next steps. SAP Concur anticipates this could reduce time spent resolving issues by up to 25%.

The company has also expanded its meeting planning software, integrating a Meeting Planning Agent linked to SAP's AI assistant, Joule. This tool offers recommendations for meetings of varying sizes based on organizational needs and flags major local events that could impact pricing or availability. It also incorporates Groupize hotel room block proposals directly into SAP Concur's software, eliminating the need for separate tracking.
